The new Access features a 4.2-inch colored TFT (Thin-Film Transistor) Digital Console, available in the Ride Connect TFT Edition. This modern display offers brighter, crisper visuals with faster refresh rates than standard LCDs, enabling better image quality, higher contrast ratios, and more accurate colors. It enhances the rider's experience by presenting essential information with clarity and visual appeal both day and night. A Bluetooth-enabled digital monochrome cluster is available in the Ride Connect Edition.
The engine produces greater torque at lower rpm, with maximum torque increased and now achieved at 5,000 rpm (previously 5,500 rpm). This change enhances fuel efficiency and improves the feel of acceleration and riding pleasure.
The finely tuned CVT transmission delivers satisfying acceleration at low rpm without excessive throttle input, while also limiting fuel consumption. Matched to vehicle speeds in the 30-60 km/h range, the engine’s rpm rises gradually, providing a pleasing motorcycle-like feel.
Changes to the camshaft profile enhance combustion efficiency. The intake cam lifts higher to increase air intake, while adjusted exhaust cam timing minimizes overlap, boosting overall engine performance.
The optimized intake port and combustion chamber shape maximize the flow velocity of the air-fuel mixture, achieving a high compression ratio for low fuel consumption and powerful engine output. Features include a long stroke, an M-shaped squish area, and a banana-shaped intake port.
The injector’s mounting angle is optimized for excellent combustion efficiency, ensuring precise fuel delivery for reliable starts, even in cold weather. The engine produces lower emissions and a smoother ride without compromising performance. The intake valve’s two-layer chamfer and waist stem design further enhances intake system efficiency.
